Brief
Employment and Social Development Canada needed to update their current dull and ‘governmenty’ web portal to appeal more to the youth. You could say I was told to give the site some ‘swag'.
Process
Upon establishing the end user, I researched the needs of the focus group and let the end goals of the platform to stay woke. In parallel to current web design trends, I critiqued sites for their swag levels and encompassed features the end user would consider dope. Placing myself in the eyes of the end user allowed me to assess my wireframes for gnarliness. Once the high fidelity mockups were Gucci, I YOLO’d my presentation and submitted it for the nationwide design poll. It was bless, fam.
